NARI – The Shakti Within

An event curated by House of Amber founder, Ranjita Kundu, this initiative celebrated and honored the feminine energy present in every woman.

The event was held at the Sky Deck at Jio Convention, Mumbai. From the moment I stepped into the Sky Deck, the experience was mesmerizing. The carefully arranged sponsor displays were not overwhelming, while the beautifully curated cheese table, featuring the finest artisanal cheeses, added a touch of elegance. The entire experience was enhanced by the live classical instrumental music that set the mood for the evening.

The event was conceived in four phases: Shakti, Drishti (the ideal woman), and the closing act, Vaginal Monologues. I was honored to be a panelist for Shakti, which was meant to celebrate courage, leadership, and resilience through women practitioners in the field of design. The discussion was moderated by Tanya Khanna of Epistle Communications, and my fellow panelists were professionals from Mumbai, some with independent practices, others with collaborative partnerships, and some running successful businesses with their life partners.

The discussion touched upon various aspects of inner strength, leadership, resilience, and breaking boundaries.

The narratives shared by each panelist, drawn from their individual journeys, ranged from learning to be empathetic toward your team and encouraging empowerment, to demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity.

In conclusion, the key message for the eager young audience was that, to be an effective leader, one must take the team forward with a resilient and empathetic attitude. This was the core message that resonated deeply throughout the evening.
