Nestled atop a windswept bluff, the design achieves a perfect balance between shelter and openness, offering both refuge from the elements and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. With sweeping views of the valley below, the structure is deeply integrated into its natural setting, providing a sense of security while embracing the beauty of the environment. Inspired by the rugged terrain, the design incorporates an earthy stone plinth and a trapezoidal roof that echo the jagged contours of the land.
The dynamic roof planes serve not only as a protective canopy but also as sculptural elements, framing expansive vistas and blurring the lines between interior and exterior. This thoughtful fusion of architecture and nature creates a seamless flow, where the built form and the natural world coexist in harmonious unity.

Sandeep Shikre & Rahul SarvaiyaThe cantilevered balconies extending from the upper-level bedrooms provide secluded private niches while offering expansive views of the valley below. These balconies project outward, creating a unique architectural feature that enhances the sense of seclusion and privacy for the occupants. The design allows residents to enjoy the stunning landscape from a sheltered vantage point, further connecting the villa to its natural surroundings. This feature highlights the balance between innovative design and practical functionality, ensuring both aesthetic beauty and user comfort.
The villa’s minimalistic interior design maintains visual consistency with the outside environment, fostering a sense of unity with nature. By using a restrained color palette and simple, clean lines, the interior spaces feel spacious and uncluttered. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic harmony between the interior and exterior but also simplifies maintenance, which is particularly beneficial given the villa’s remote location. The minimalistic design ensures that the villa remains both practical and aesthetically pleasing, emphasizing a connection to the natural surroundings while providing a tranquil living space.
The interior of the villa is a celebration of spatial fluidity and openness, designed to harmonize with the changing light and views outside. With a minimalist aesthetic, the design eliminates barriers between the indoor and outdoor spaces, using large French windows and strategic perforations to allow natural light to pour in. The villa responds to its environment, with each room capturing a different perspective of the landscape, whether it’s the rolling hills or the valley below. As the day progresses, so does the play of light and shadow, offering residents a dynamic experience of the space. The design encourages an intimate connection with nature, making every moment inside feel like an encounter with the surrounding environment.
The villa’s design carefully balances privacy and openness, with an enclosed public side for protection and a generous open side that connects seamlessly to the outdoors. This approach enhances the relationship between the house and its natural surroundings, integrating the environment into daily life. The layout fosters a sense of openness and light, drawing the landscape into the home and offering residents a constant connection to nature.
The undulating footprint ensures each room offers unique views, while cantilevered balconies in the upper bedrooms provide peaceful, panoramic retreats. These private spaces offer a tranquil atmosphere, maintaining privacy while immersing residents in nature. The overall design encourages a harmonious flow between interior and exterior, enhancing the living experience and creating a sense of calm and serenity.
