With over 30 years of experience as an architect specializing in interior design, Alpa applies a human-centric approach to various project typologies. Her keen examination of the reciprocal relationship between individuals and their built environment allows her to tailor designs to diverse cultural contexts while maintaining universal commonalities for optimal functionality. An exemplary project is the internationally acclaimed Mudra House. She has also notably contributed to the interior design of India’s first platinum-rated hospital, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Each space is uniquely designed to express wellness for patients, staff, and visitors through carefully curated colors and nature-inspired images.

Projects spearheaded by Alpa have garnered both local and global recognition, earning her prestigious awards throughout her extensive career. A graduate in Architecture from one of India’s leading schools, her commitment to constant learning and sustainable design is underscored by being one of the first Indian architects to attain a USGBC LEED-AP certification in commercial interiors.

Beyond SSA, Alpa dedicates time to her family and explores the world through travel. An ardent yoga practitioner, she also volunteers her time to support her housing complex.
