Sandeep’s dedication to sustainability reaches new heights as he spearheads the committee responsible for formulating India’s 1st Net Zero Carbon rating system for IGBC. Additionally, he plays a pivotal role in the preparation of the ECSBC – Building Envelope chapter and IBEEPS Building Envelope chapter, showcasing his proactive approach to shaping the future of sustainable practices in the architectural domain.

In the year 2020, Sandeep undertook the arduous task of contributing to the preparation of the Manual of Architectural Practice published by the Council of Architecture. Collaborating with other stalwarts in India, he served as the key author for Volume 3 – Guidelines for Architectural Contracts and Volume 4 – Guidelines for Architectural Services and Fees. Released in 2022, this comprehensive manual has become an invaluable resource for stakeholders, available for purchase from the COA’s website.

As a Patron Member of CTBUH, India, headquartered in Chicago, USA, a Member of the Indian Institute of Architects, and a Member of the Council of Architecture, he showcases his affiliation with prestigious professional bodies. Additionally, being an Associate Member of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers reflects his involvement in interior design practices. His membership in the Practising Engineers Architects and Town Planners Association (India) demonstrates his engagement with fellow professionals in the field. As a Member of the Governing Council of Rachna Sansad School of Architecture and an Advisory Architect at the Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI), he contributes to the academic and strategic direction of architectural education and lends his expertise to matters concerning fire safety and security in the built environment.
